A Time To Change

Humanity got problems. We know it, but we dont want to accept it. We live our lives in shell, not knowing what´s outside it!...
We are busy judging other peoples lives, yet we dont have the guts to analyze our own!..
How do we move forward, out from the shell, the shelter that keeps us busy analyzing our neighbours.
We´re standing in the line in our regular mall, the girl behind us looks like the swedish flag from beatings. We look with the corner of our eye, but we dont want to approch and ask if she´s alright. We just talk about it to our friends and family. Her boyfriend shouting at her from beside her. We can only imagine how her evening is going to turn out, but we don´t try and stop it!..
Isn´t it time to change this behavior of ours? Isn´t it time to make a differens? We use most of our energy trying to change the world from globing warming, but we dont share a thought to the real issues at hand.
We don´t try and help one-another from the every-day pains we all go through. We just shut our eyes and minds.
It´s time to change this pattern of carelessness, time to care for more than just ourselves.
Do we really want our children, or our childrens children to become what we are?..
If you take a look at a violent bigbrother, a few years later the littlebrother is going to be twice as violent, he looks up to his bigbrother and starts with his violent acts in a much earlier age.
We dont blame ourselves for this. We blame music, tv or video games for the acts our children act out. Why can´t we just try and open our eyes, just for a moment a day. Just to realize we are poisining our next generation by blaming everybody else than ourselves.
This is not the intend our anchestors had in mind when they build up our entire civilation.. For free. They worked their asses off, just so we could have what they never had, and what do we do with it?.. We fuck it up. We should be ashamed of ourselves.
Everybody say respect your elders, but are we really doing that by acting reckless at any cost?
We generate wars for oil, hand out guns to easy-manipulated children that would do anything, Anything! for not to be the ones starring down the barrel from a so-called friendly gun!
The o-zone is not the biggest problem, and neither is drugs nor alcohol. It´s us!
We create the problems by not seeing the fact of the matter. We need to change our behaviour. We need to learn from the mistakes our parents made when they were young.
Prisons gets more and more crouded every day that passes. Everyday somebody takes a bullet. Every day somebody press the trigger with the intention to end a life.
We act more and more like we´re the hand of God. As if we decides who lives or dies. We are not the ones chosen to carry the hoe.
Just take a second a day to reflect on your own life, try and realize we can all make a difference. The difference does not lie in religion, music, tv nor video games. It all lies in our hearts. And in the Will to do better.
The conclusion? Only We, can make Heaven On Earth a reality.....
Its very important when you are on Paralda that you have an open mind, and do not judge other peoples ideas, thoughts and believes. This is a place for artists, people who just love to express themselves or for you who just enjoy a good read. |
